The reclusive Sterling family is a month late on its taxes, the collector sent to retrieve them has vanished, and dark rumors cling to the manor: undead walking the grounds, and a vampire lord ruling from within.
Three Ways to Play. What sets this one-shot apart is choice. Your party is courted by two strangers and left to follow its own conscience, opening three very different roads to the same manor: slip through an undead-infested mine and steal the gold outright, take up the blessed relics of Jershom the vampire slayer and storm the front doors, or walk up and parley with the Sterlings themselves. But the rumors may not tell the whole story — a party that looks past the obvious will find the night hides a darker secret than a single vampire lord.
